You will report directly into a Team Leader and work closely with other administrators, your course teams and students.

As a Course Administrator supporting post registration courses you will be responsible for supporting students, academics and the wider team.  You will be a point of contact for the administration of all aspects of the post registration life-cycle from admission to award. The post holder will be responsible for a broad range of support activities which includes, enrolment, exam board, student attendance  and maintaining accurate records

As a Course Administrator, your key responsibilities will include but will not be exclusive to;

  • Undertake key aspects of student administration including enrolment, attendance monitoring, module selection, maintaining accurate records and supporting student graduation.  Liaising with external practice partners and the wider team.  Attending meetings and ensuring relevant information is available. Collaborative working with the wider administrative team
  • Maintain accurate student records utilising a range of systems including SITS etc
  • Be a subject matter expert for course administration processes and provide detailed advice for academics, other colleagues and students,
  • Provide full administrative support for Exam Boards
  • Plan, manage and prioritise own work load to ensure that deadlines are met, anticipating problems with achievement of objectives, and either seeking help or resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Play a full part in the course administration team, maintaining up to date knowledge of academic regulations and their application.

What are the requirements for the role?

You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent experience) coupled with proven administrative, IT and customer service experience within a complex environment. Experience in a student-facing role is desirable. Beyond that, your ability to act as a team player, demonstrate intellectual curiosity, to manage your workload and your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be what sets you apart
