Part Time Post: 7 hours per week (Tuesdays)

Fixed Term Contract initially for 6 weeks, Term Time Only (future opportunity to join our Bank Staff)

Salary:  £6103 to £7070 pro rata per annum

We are looking for an experienced counsellor who is willing to work at our Epsom campus for a fixed term period to help provide 1-2-1 counselling at a busy time.  Additional hours may become available during the week depending on demand.

You will provide a professional, personal counselling service to the students of the University. This is an accessible and confidential counselling service for students requesting such help and will normally be one-to-one work, but provision of online counselling services and group work may be required.

You will also advise students on obtaining help and support to enable them to succeed on course as well as refer students appropriately on to other services inside or outside the University when necessary.

Applicants will need to have a recognised qualification in counselling or psychotherapy, be currently an Accredited member of BACP and have experience of delivering counselling in a higher educational setting.

You will need to hold a current enhanced DBS Certificate, Indemnity Insurance and have Private Supervision arrangements in place.
