Salary:

£40,049 to £43,372 per annum inclusive of London Weighting Allowance

(pro-rata £32,039.20 to £34,697.60 pa inclusive of London Weighting Allowance)

The University of Roehampton is recruiting to the role of Counsellor to join our vibrant Wellbeing team on a fixed term, part time basis.

The Department supports student retention, achievement and satisfaction by providing a range of services to enhance student wellbeing and ensure that all students have access to a range of support appropriate to their needs. The Wellbeing Team comprises three areas of support: wellbeing advice and guidance, mental health interventions and short-term counselling. The aim is for services to be visible, effective, accessible and tailored to the needs of our student community. The service makes a key contribution to the University’s mission to support all students, whatever their background, to reach their full potential.

Applicants for the post of Counsellor must have significant clinical experience, particularly with delivering short-term therapeutic interventions.
