Are you a creative and dynamic Content Creator who cares about shaping the student journey into university? The University of Brighton is seeking an individual to join our new team, responsible for crafting content across multiple platforms with a focus on attracting prospective students and their influencers. This role is key in creating an inspiring and seamless experience for new students, fostering a sense of belonging from the very start.

About the role:

As a Content Creator, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and expanding our reach across branded channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. Collaborating with student ambassadors and course reps, you will create engaging content to bring our student-focused campaigns to life. This role requires creativity, innovation, and the ability to thrive in a complex, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of a schedule of planned channel-specific content in collaboration with colleagues.
  • Create innovative, engaging, and on-brand content optimised for each social platform's purpose, tone-of-voice, and content style.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a student-voice-centred content plan supporting the recruitment cycle and student journey, aligning with audience needs and channel strategy.

 Your profile:

  • Excellent working knowledge of social media and how it's used by our target audiences.
  • Ability to write clear, creative, grammatically correct, and engaging content.
  • Proficient in creating digital assets using various media.

This is a full-time permanent post based in Brighton, UK. We operate an agile working system with time split between working on campus and at the employee's home. It is the University's expectation that home working will take place within the UK.
