Are you an experienced and innovative content creator and production manager with a strong interest in higher education? The University of Brighton is seeking a dynamic individual to lead our content creation and production function focused on student recruitment. This new role is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal part in shaping how we inform, influence and support prospective students, while contributing to our strategic growth.

About the role: 

As the Content and Production Manager, you will be at the forefront of content creation, planning, development, and production management for student recruitment. You will lead the Content Designer, Content Creator and Content Coordinator, and a group of other creators and editors, working collaboratively to ensure excellence and effectiveness in the creative development and production of recruitment content.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead content planning and production management for strategic channel-specific content plans across multiple concurrent recruitment cycles.
  • Create multi-media digital content across various channels, aligning with user-centred content design principles.
  • Collaborate on metrics and user journey tracking to provide insights for content optimisation.

 Your profile:

  • Excellent writing and content creation skills, adapting to different mediums based on messaging and audience needs.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills with demonstrated success in content project delivery.
  • Proven experience in content creation and management roles, with a portfolio showcasing successful content campaigns.

This is a full-time permanent post based in Brighton, UK. We operate an agile working system with time split between working on campus and at the employee's home. It is the University's expectation that home working will take place within the UK.
