We are seeking to appoint a motivated, organised and experienced committee services administrator to join the Committee Services Team for the Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK.

The successful candidate will work in a small, highly productive team responsible for the successful delivery of over 90 meetings per annum which support and advise the work of the Federation: including the Internal Medicine/Core Medical Training Advisory Committee (CMTAC), 29 medical specialties (and 3 sub-specialties) via the Specialty Advisory Committees (SACs), examining boards and committees, and other associated groups such as the Heads of Schools of Medicine and SAC Chairs.

The primary duties involve providing excellent management and administrative support to a range of allocated committees in their core functions. The post holder will ensure the effective flow of information between the committees and the department.  

The post holder will have excellent communication skills, show great attention to detail and be able to synthesize detailed, complex information and discussions in order to identify key issues and write high quality minutes and reports. Experience in managing multiple meetings and activities as well as problem solving, and decision making is essential. The candidate will be able to prepare agendas and meeting papers to agreed timelines.
