The Artificial Intelligence Super Connector (AISC) project is a collaboration between the Universities of Leeds, Imperial College, Liverpool and York and aims to aid researchers at the forefront of AI discovery research to create tomorrow’s technology start-up and scale-up leaders, solving significant societal challenges through the commercial application of state-of-the-art AI.

We are seeking a pro-active and self-motivated individual to join the University’s Commercialisation Team as Commercialisation Manager for the AISC project. This is an exciting new role that will have responsibility for University of Leeds’ day-to-day operational delivery of the project as well as supporting with the identification of new AI venture opportunities in the health, sustainability, climate change, robotics and autonomous systems and security applications sectors. The role will also ensure that the AISC programme objectives and outputs integrate effectively with the University’s broader commercialisation activities.

You will have a degree in Physical Sciences, Computing or Engineering combined with a strong interest in and/or knowledge of the commercial development of early stage technological/scientific opportunities.   You will also have significant experience of co-ordinating and supporting projects involving multiple stakeholders. 

You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels of an organisation, work to tight deadlines and take a flexible approach to your work. You will be well-organised, have strong planning and organisation skills with practical implementation focused on ensuring that programme objectives are driven forward.
