If so, this is a unique opportunity, working for both the University and colleges, to take up the reins of a brand-new service.

You will be based in the central Estates Services, but working across the city with all colleges.

The service:

The Collegiate Accommodation Service Manager has been set up to support graduate students in finding accommodation in the University and across all the colleges. We are looking for the right person to grow the service over the next three years, with an eye on how it can further support the journey of Oxford students in relation to their accommodation.

About the role

Based in Estates Services but working across all colleges, The Collegiate Accommodation Service Manager will work with Accommodation Managers in colleges as well as the Graduate Accommodation Service in Estates to ensure that students are able to find accommodation that meets their needs when their own college is full. The manager will report to college and University committees on the performance of the service and propose ideas for growth and improvement.

About you:

Do you have a thorough understanding of student accommodation, including insight into the challenges faced by students?

Do you have the motivation to pick up the service in the pilot stages and grow it in line with the needs of the University and its colleges?

Can you engage multiple stakeholders and develop strong working relationships?

Can you work to and develop robust standards and KPIs?

Do you have a desire to work within and promote a culture of customer service and continuous improvement?
