Overview of the Role

The Turpin-Lipstein Fellow provides teaching and academic support to undergraduate and postgraduate students in Law at Clare College. Where necessary, this includes teaching students from other colleges on behalf of Clare.

Main Responsibilities

• Teaching within at least two subjects of the current Law Tripos.

• Supervising undergraduate students for 12 hours a week during Full Term.

• Directing studies for undergraduate and postgraduate students in accordance with need.

• Participating fully in the administration of Law at Clare, including undergraduate admissions.

Fellowship

The role holder will be eligible for election to a Class B Fellowship at Clare College, joining a community of engaged academics. Class B Fellows benefit from 7 free meals in College per week and CTOs are eligible for annual travel grants to facilitate research. The College also operates a housing loan scheme and shared equity scheme, and Fellows have access to private medical insurance through the Cambridge College’s Healthcare Plan.
