Are you medically qualified and ambitious with an interest in research and in chronic lymphocytic leukaemia? Do you have experience of working in Haematology? Do you want to further your career by undertaking an PhD in one of the UK’s leading research intensive Universities?
You will support and undertake research in haematology, specifically in chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL). Your research will focus on the development of novel therapies for the treatment of CLL and in particular the understanding of clonal evolution and immune recovery in the context of novel therapies for CLL. You will lead your own studies in this area, including methods development and clinical studies and contribute to the work of the research group as a whole.
During your employment you will also work towards an PhD at the University of Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity if you are a haematology trainee, especially if you are aiming to sub specialise in lymphoid malignancies, particularly chronic lymphoproliferative disorders, and/or pursue an academic career. You will be medically qualified with MRCP or equivalent and full GMC registration.
