INTERNAL VACANCY 

This vacancy is open to employees of the University of Nottingham only. 

Applications are invited from medically qualified doctors to join the postgraduate Medical Education team at an exciting time. You will work within the nationally renowned Education Centre in the University of Nottingham's School of Medicine, in which you will work with colleagues to deliver the accredited PGCert, PGDip, and Masters in Medical Education programme.

You will assist the course director through a variety of activities including teaching, supervision and assessment, leadership and administration, representation and external engagement, and contribute to the ongoing annual quality improvement of the programme. 

You will provide a consistently excellent standard of teaching and support for student learning that is underpinned by scholarship related to the discipline of Medical Education; contribute to the scholarship of teaching and learning via publication and dissemination to a wide variety of audiences; play a role in curriculum development, quality assurance and enhancement; undertake continuing professional development; and work in partnership with staff and students to maintain the highest standards in all areas of their work. You will be supported to develop your knowledge and skills and potential within the University through a range of development opportunities. 

You must be GMC registered with a license to practise and fulfil all essential criteria on the person specifications.   

The post is available on a permanent basis. Hours of work are part-time (16 hours per week).
