Applications are invited for the above post, based in the Centre for Academic Primary Care within the Lifespan and Population Health Unit of the School of Medicine, University of Nottingham.

We are looking for a clinical academic with a track-record in research in Primary Care. The primary focus of this role will be in research but you will also be expected to contribute to teaching within the School of Medicine. 

The major purposes of this role are to:

•           undertake a successful research programme aligned to the research strategies of academic Primary Care

•           co-supervise researchers and postgraduate students in this research area

•           teach undergraduates and postgraduate students

•           contribute to the collegiate needs of the School of Medicine, Faculty and University

Applicants must be on the GMC GP Register, hold Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners and have a PhD; they should also have experience of teaching undergraduate medical students.  

If successful, you will be employed for 3 Programmed Activities per week on a temporary contract  for 1 year. Hours of work are part time (12 hours per week).
