The position of part-time afternoon Cleaner Porter (25 hours per week) is an important role within the Facilities Section and is essential in allowing the Department of Estates to provide an effective and efficient customer-focused cleaning and portering service, that fits the University of Bath’s students, staff and visitors’ needs.  We currently have a number of positions available.

This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated person to work not only as part of a team, but also on their own, to deliver and maintain the high standards required by the University, within their designated areas. You will be expected to maintain an excellent level of cleanliness in order to maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for all and must have an awareness of Health and Safety issues and a thorough and methodical attitude to work.  Due to the nature of the work the post holder must be able to lift and carry a reasonable weight.

You may also be required to undertake basic maintenance and assist with the set-ups and breakdowns of various events.  Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

This is a part-time position. 

Hours of work: 25 hours per week between 12:00hrs (12 noon) and 17:00hrs (5.00pm). You will be required to work 5 days (Monday to Friday)
