We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking people, who have a keen eye for detail and take pride in their work to join our team of sports facility cleaners at the David Ross Sports Village on University Park. You will support the general facility operations ensuring that the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained. You will work both independently and as part of a team and will be required to clean a large range of sports areas, providing excellent customer service at all times. Most of all, we are looking for someone who will respect and embrace the University’s values and culture and is able to encourage and connect with their colleagues, our students and customers. Ideally candidates will have experience of cleaning within a similar environment however full training will be provided.
Hours and Rota:
Weekday Posts
Post 1: Hours of work are 10 per week, 5 days out of 7 to be arranged mainly Monday to Friday between 0600am and 0800am. Flexibility will be required.
Weekend Posts
Post 1: Hours of work are 6 per week, 2 days out of 7 to be arranged mainly Saturday and Sunday between 06.15am and 09.15am. Flexibility will be required.
Post 2 : Hours of work are 10 per week, 2 days out of 7 to be arranged mainly Saturday and Sunday between 1300pm and 1800pm. Flexibility will be required.
The successful candidates for this post will be expected to attend the Estates and Facilities training courses which will run each day, Monday to Friday mornings on the first week of appointment. Further details will be given at interview.
