Student and Campus Life at Queen’s University Belfast is currently seeking to appoint a number of candidates to both Full Time and Part Time posts of Childcare Assistants within Childcare Services.

We are seeking dedicated and experienced childcare workers to join our fantastic team of childcare assistants. We are looking for candidates who can work effectively in a team, assisting in the running of the University Childcare facility and fostering an environment in which the needs of the children are met. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking for their next step in their childcare career.  

The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:

  • Secondary school education and NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Childcare Learning and Development or equivalent childcare qualification.
  • Previous relevant experience in a similar environment ranging from 6 weeks to 11 years.
  • Working knowledge of Childminding and Day Care for Children Under Age 12 Minimum Standards (July 2012) and understand relevant Health and Safety requirements.
