We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our Culinary Catering team within our residence’s kitchens.

Working 36.5 hours per week for any 5 days out of 7 this role will require some evenings and weekend working.

We are looking for a focused team player who can work alone or in a team. You will be focused and well organised. Having qualifications in NVQ 2 in food preparation (or relevant experience), food safety and health and safety training would be advantageous, you will have a flexible approach to working hours and practises, as well as having good communication skills.

Our incredibly busy, unique venues require a candidate that is service-orientated with the ability to thrive in an energetic and dynamic environment.

You will make an important contribution to the achievement of the following aims:

  • Ensuring students receive the highest quality student experience
  • Developing standards which ensure the service is at the forefront of the industry
  • Delivering a financial contribution to ensure continuous investment across the University’s estate
  • Providing exceptional culinary service to all our event clients

We are looking for customer focused, team players who can also work alone. A particular focus will be on providing exceptional culinary service at all times with a passion for providing high quality food.
