Salary

Full time starting salary is normally in the range of £35,559 to £39,434 per annum, with potential progression to £48,855 per annum


About Cranfield Forensic Institute

Cranfield Forensic Institute (CFI) provides a Centre of Excellence for the application of science, technology and other areas to law enforcement particularly through niche areas of forensic science and security studies. For years, CFI has been a home for innovation, expertise, and a strong centre for student community. Cranfield University in conjunction with matched funding from South-East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership (SEMLEP) have recently invested £7.2 million into the latest forensic equipment, teaching spaces and continued recruitment of experienced and industry relevant academic staff.

About the Role

About You

You will have a first degree in a relevant scientific discipline or recognised and substantial technical expertise in a relevant area, acquired over a significant number of years. 

In addition, you will have sound technical knowledge through experience of scientific OR technical discipline along with a working understanding of Health & Safety regulations and procedures.
