The Department for Continuing Education is currently looking to recruit a Catering Supervisor to work within its busy catering operation, providing meals and fine dining events.

About the role

This is a busy role working as part of a friendly and supportive team, to provide a first class service to our staff, students, visitors and external clients, between our locations at Rewley House and Ewert House, Summertown. You will work an average of 5 days out of 7, working a total of 36.5 hours per week. Shifts will vary to cover the hours of business requirements, including weekend and evening work.  The normal hours of operation are between 7am and 10.30pm, with occasional events that exceed these hours.

This role is busy and diverse, and comes with opportunities for personal and professional development.

About you 

You will have good communication skills, a positive attitude to customer care, preferably experience of supervising staff and working in the hospitality industry in a customer facing role.
