Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • To be aware of and comply with company and legal requirements including health, safety and hygiene.  
  • To ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with departmental working instructions.  
  • To ensure that the kitchen and associated areas are maintained in a clean, tidy and hygienic condition.  
  • To ensure all chemicals and cleaning products are used as directed by the manufacturer and in accordance with the training given.   
  • To maintain records for all cleaning duties undertaken during shift. 
  • To use and maintain equipment in the department as trained and to report immediately any faults to the Duty Chef.  
  • To ensure all Personal Protective Equipment is used in accordance with the training given.  
  • To carry out any other reasonable task as requested by your supervisor or a member of the Management Team.

Uniform and meals on duty are provided
