Duties and Responsibilities include:

· Ensure that the kitchen and associated areas are maintained in a clean, tidy and hygienic condition, including floors within and leading into the kitchen

· Ensure all service wear and cooking items are thoroughly washed, cleaned and dried and returned to designated storage areas

· Ensure all chemicals and cleaning product are used as directed by the manufacturer and in accordance to the training given

· Maintain records for all cleaning duties undertaken during shift

· Use and maintain equipment in the department as trained and to report immediately any faults to the Duty Chef

· Ensure all Personal Protective Equipment is used as specified by COSHH guidelines

· Carry out any other reasonable task as requested by a member of the management team

· Comply with company procedures and legal requirements including Health, Safety and Hygiene standards

· Ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with departmental working instructions
