The objective of the Careers Centre is to provide high-quality career-related services to all our constituents. We support and help students and alumni to find and prepare for a role that suits their skill-set and meets their career development aspirations. We offer customised assistance to corporations, organisations and headhunters to enable them to access and recruit from the Saïd talent pool. We utilise group learning and professional development to address the needs of students and also provide specific customised advice through 1:1 coaching and counselling sessions.

In this role you will be responsible for leading the careers provision for Executive MBA (EMBAs) students and all Saïd Business School alumni (EMBAs, MBAs, MFEs etc.) which currently numbers approximately 5000 individuals. Reporting to the Head of Executive Careers you will also be responsible for client relationship management with executive search firms.

You will advise alumni and Executive MBA students on career transitions and assist them through specific customised advice delivered through 1:1 coaching and counselling sessions, coaching can specifically include, but is not limited to: skills assessment, market analysis, goal setting, devising job seeking strategies, specific company/industry insight, CV, cover letter and application reviews, understanding the nuances of different recruitment processes and procedures, interview and assessment centre preparation, mock interview practise, negotiations, advice on working successfully with recruiters/headhunters and alumni.

You will represent the Careers Centre across the business school, this will include corporate on site visits, formal meetings and presentations, recruitment presentations and events. You will plan, develop and deliver careers programming and professional development which may include recruitment presentations, events, panels, boot camps, skills sessions and workshops. This currently includes: Executive MBA: Careers Induction, Considering Options workshop, etc.

To be considered for this post, you will be a confident and experienced coach with specific experience of executive and senior career development coaching, with a recognised coaching qualification or accreditation.

You will have a strong business development background and a track record of building relationships with target organisations, preferably in the field of employer talent development and recruiting.

You will be a collaborative team player who thrives in an environment of design and delivery of user-centric programmes.
