An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Business or Science graduate to lead a challenging, technical Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project with the University of Brighton and Lewes based business, Falcon Coffees.
The project aims to embed management capabilities with a focus on environmental economics, to optimise coffee supply chains by identifying and implementing methodologies for measuring and mitigating against carbon emissions. This role is a 30 months fixed term contract as a KTP Associate, based in Lewes, East Sussex.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have a BSc Hons (min 2:1) in a Business or Science related degree, preferably within qualifications in economics, finance or biochemistry. A high level of written and spoken Spanish (Intermediate, fluent, native speaker) is essential to this role.
It is essential you have up to date knowledge of the principles of business and innovation management, as well as a keen interest in climate change and the sustainability of coffee production. Experience of working on or leading projects will be needed to carry out your role successfully. Knowledge of the coffee industry and an understanding of agronomy would also be an advantage.
