This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – with regular time also spent on Cornwall campuses and some work from home. We also welcome applications from candidates interested in working part-time hours or job-sharing arrangements.

Summary of the role

This is an outstanding opportunity to provide business management support to the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Cornwall (DVC) and Director of Cornwall Operations (DCO) on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be part of the senior leadership team in Cornwall and will help with the strategic and operational planning to deliver the University of Exeter’s ambition in Cornwall.

The main responsibilities will be to provide high-level strategic and business support to the DVC Cornwall and the Director of Cornwall Operations through coordination and business management across the entire range of strategic areas within the Cornwall portfolio. Working closely and liaising with other members of the Cornwall Executive Board and Professional Services teams, you will undertake specific projects relating to the DVC’s and the DCO’s work programmes. The postholder will also assist the DVC in the continued development and implementation of the Cornwall Strategy.
