Due to continued growth in Henley Business School’s Executive Education Open Programmes, we are looking for an exceptional Business Development Manager to join our team.
Henley’s open programmes develop capabilities in leadership, management, strategic planning, organizational change and executive coaching. They are the go-to choice for those looking to make an impact in their organization, from high-potential managers to board-room executives.
The Business Development Manager will recruit to defined programme targets by following up leads with individuals/organisations and proactively sell places on a portfolio of programmes, with a primary focus on Henley’s world-class executive coaching qualifications. The Business Development Manager will work as part of a team which is accountable for the achievement of agreed programme sales, revenue, and margin targets.
You will have a proven track record in B2B and/or B2C sales/business development, as well as a demonstrable understanding of the management development sector.
The successful candidate will also have proven successful experience of:
- adopting a consultative sales approach within a commercial environment, using consultative / relationship management as the primary route for business development, including previous experience of influencing senior executives
- developing and maintaining constructive relationships and accounts with current and prospective clients
- working to and successfully achieving revenue targets
- identifying, qualifying and proactively generating business revenue opportunities.
