NTU Events and Conferencing (NTU E&C) manages the conference and event spaces for Nottingham Trent University (NTU) across its three campuses; Nottingham City Campus, Clifton Campus and Brackenhurst Campus. As a leading academic venue, we welcome more than 500 events per year and 10,000+ delegates and are part of the University's Central Events team. 

NTU E&C are looking for a Business Development Manager to secure conference and event business into the University; putting in place a robust and effective sales and marketing plan, developing strong relationships with both our internal and external clients and maintaining a commercial industry presence whilst also ensuring we remain a leading Academic venue with an appropriate portfolio of events. This is an exciting opportunity for a goal orientated and self-motivated individual to join an exciting and dynamic team. As an event professional, you will have significant experience in a commercial or client facing environment as well as having experience of planning or supporting the organisation of events.

The successful candidate will have experience in the Conference & Event market and of working in a customer focussed environment, possessing outstanding account management skills.

Weekend and evening working, along with offsite attendance at events out of hours, is a requirement of this role
