Full time starting salary is normally in the range of £26,860 to £30,513 per annum, with potential progression to £37,701 per annum

About the Role

As part of our Business Development team, you will drive enrolment for our apprenticeship programmes including the Data Scientist Degree Apprenticeship and Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship.

Taking a proactive approach, you will utilise sales and marketing techniques to identify and contact prospective employers. Having established that connection you will provide on-going support to these businesses, helping them define their training or apprenticeships needs and encouraging them to upskill/reskill their existing employees to generate a pipeline of new business leads for MK:U.

About you

To be successful in this role you will role you will be well organised and willing to work to tight deadlines, but more importantly, you will be able build relationships quickly. You will need to adopt a problem-solving mindset and be ready to take initiative in the fast-moving and exciting MK:U environment. You will be creative and have the ability to come up with ideas and turn those into actions.

Ideally you will have a Level 3 Qualification or above (or equivalent work experience) is a Sales or Marketing discipline. You do not need prior apprenticeship or Higher Education sector knowledge or experience, but you must be able to demonstrate prior experience of working in customer facing role.

An understanding of the MK:U apprenticeship portfolio and the apprenticeship levy will be important for this role as will experience of digital or social media marketing, effective communication skills and the ability to influence a network of stakeholders and build relationships across a diverse range of organisations.
