The role

We are looking for a bioinformatician with experience in developing biological databases. We are looking for a candidate with an MSc in bioinformatics. Your duties will involve developing an online biological database using Python, MySQL, and Java and developing a web-based front-end in PHP/HTML and deploy the database online. 


About you
  • 2+ years of bioinformatics programming experience in an industry or academic setting.
  • Demonstrated experience as a scientific programmer.
  • Very strong in Python, JAVA, and shell in Linux environment
  • Experience in MySQL database design and development.
  • Experience in PHP and HTML.
  • Knowledge in Molecular biology preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
