Salary: Associate Professor (G9) £56,467 to £69,404, progressing to £75,833 once in post

The Role: Northeastern University London wishes to appoint an Associate Professor (Teaching & Scholarship) in Clinical Trials. The appointee will help develop and deliver our Clinical Trials Specialist Degree Apprenticeship programme and provide general service to the Faculty, depending on experience.

We wish to appoint a specialist in Clinical Trials. Core duties will include developing the Clinical Trials Specialist Degree Apprenticeship programme, as well as leading the development and teaching of cutting-edge courses in areas such as Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Regulations and Corporate Ethics, Clinical Systems, Sample Management, Statistical Principles, Drug Development and Scientific Knowledge required to conduct clinical trials.

About the Faculty: Associate Professor (Teaching & Scholarship) in Clinical Trials 2 The newly formed Faculty of Computing, Mathematics, Engineering, and Natural Sciences (CoMENS) is undergoing a major growth at Northeastern University London. It is home to four interdisciplinary undergraduate dual-degree (in UK and US) programmes in the areas of Data Science, Data Science and Politics, Computer Science and Business, and Computer Science and Philosophy; four postgraduate programs in the areas of AI Ethics, Data Science, Computer Science, and Technology Leadership; and five apprenticeships programmes in the areas of AI, Data Science, Digital and Technology Solutions, and Biosciences.

The Faculty plays a major part in Northeastern University’s first-year student mobility program, offering undergraduate courses in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Healthcare, striving to inspire and equip entering students to be outstanding scientists.

Criteria Qualifications

  • PhD completed, or near completion (all but dissertation), or equivalent professional experience, in a relevant area.
  • FHEA status, or equivalent, achieved or expected (desirable). Key Criteria
