Applicants are invited for an exciting new position within the Centre for Children and Young People’s Health Research (CYPHR) in the School of Health Sciences at the University of Nottingham. The person appointed will be expected to undertake a significant programme of research within the area of babies, children, young people and their families. They will also be expected to undertake undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and supervision. 

Specifically, the person appointed will develop a network of collaborators to enable them to apply for external funding applications for research income within their chosen field, deliver hiqh quality research, produce 3 and 4* papers, and contribute to practice and policy. They will also contribute to undergraduate teaching, mainly of child nursing students and supervise postgraduate masters and doctoral students. They will be expected to contribute to citizenship activities as required in the School of Health Sciences. 

The person appointed will become a member of the Children and Young People’s Health Research Centre (CYPHR). They will have the opportunity to use their initiative and creativity to identify areas for research, develop research methods and extend their research portfolio. 

This is a permanent post. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week); however, applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours hours per week).
