The UCL Global Business School for Health (GBSH) at UCL East campus is an innovative business school preparing future healthcare leaders to disrupt and reimagine global health systems. GBSH is dedicated to training and developing the next generation of leaders in the global health economy by building on UCL’s proud tradition of cross-disciplinary academic excellence in education and research.

This post will support our postgraduate degree programmes as well as contribute to our interdisciplinary research agenda. The post holder will focus on the rapid development of digital health technologies, their integration into health systems, and the health policy driving their development and implementation. The successful candidate will be able to lead, engage and contribute to debates on the role of digital technologies in global health, and work across disciplines given the interdisciplinary approach to health challenges taken at Global Business School for Health. Moreover, research that focuses on the development and implementation of digital health policy would be welcomed.

You will be required to have a PhD in management, health discipline or social sciences related to digital health, health innovation and policy. In addition, you will have research or work experience related to digital health, health innovation and policy with a proven ability to conduct internationally excellent research. We also require you to have a track record of research and/or enterprise funding as a principal investigator or co-investigator and experience of supervising PhD students to completion. You will also have experience of leading positive culture change, or culture creation, within a discipline, department or organisation.

You will have excellent organisational, prioritisation and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and independently, supervise postgraduate research students and deliver research-led, effective, engaging and inclusive postgraduate teaching.
