Associate Lecturer in Construction with BIM

As a key member of Coventry University Online, an established company and wholly-owned subsidiary of the University Group, the Associate Lecturer will be part of the Tutor Services Team and will be responsible for quality driven learning facilitation on a module based system to a cohort of students through the FutureLearn platform.

A subject expert, the Associate Lecturer will have expertise and experience in teaching Construction with BIM, or an associated course at a Post Graduate Level.

The post holder will be comfortable using technology to enable effective support to large cohorts of students at distance, utilizing the FutureLearn platform, this will include ‘live’ sessions, forums and dealing with specific queries and questions through email.

The Associate Lecturer will have responsibility for, with the support of Module Leaders, preparation and delivery of learning support to individuals and/or groups, to mark coursework, assignments, projects and examinations. The ability to deliver clear feedback on exercises and assignments is essential as well as ensuring that teaching challenges thinking, fosters debate and develops the ability of the students to engage in critical discourse and rational thinking.
