As Associate Director, Strategic Philanthropy you will act as the Deputy to the Director of Strategic Philanthropy. You will manage the Strategic Philanthropy Manager in the team. In your line management capacity you will provide them with direction to help prioritise workload in support of some of the team’s more complex and most high value relationships and support them to thrive in their role.

You will be responsible for the engagement, cultivation and solicitation of some of UCL’s most significant relationships in order to secure philanthropic income at the seven- and eight-figure level.

We are happy to consider applications to work on a part-time/flexible basis wherever possible (minimum 0.8 FTE – equivalent of 4 days per week, stated salary to be pro-rata).

Note: This post is open to UCL internal applicants only. 

You will have significant experience of working with high-net-worth individuals in a philanthropic context. With demonstrable experience of managing multiple and complex fundraising activities and leadership activities simultaneously.

You will have a proven track record of working closely with senior academics to achieve significant fundraising goals.  You will be viewed by others as a team player with a can-do attitude and show strong evidence of an ability to work both pro-actively and independently. Working collaboratively to seek views and take direction from your manager and other senior leaders will be second nature to you.
