Applications are invited for a Assistant Professor position in Global Mental Health joining a team working at the interface between epidemiology, intervention development and testing, and intervention science in low resource settings. The post will be based in the Centre for Global Mental Health, which is part of the Department of Population Health; and the post-holder will be based in the UK.

The post-holder will have a doctoral degree in a relevant topic alongside expertise in one or more of mental health, global health, public health and implementation science, preferably with training and/ or experience in global mental health. Excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in common statistical tools (qualitative and/ or quantitative) is essential. Further particulars are included in the job description.

The post is full-time 35 hours per week, 1.0 FTE and fixed-term until 31 March 2028. The post is funded by the Faculty of Epidemiology and Population Health and is available immediately.

The salary will be on the Academic Pathway salary scale Grade 6 in the range £51,299 - £58,723 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service.  Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
