Applications are invited for the above post in the Department of Civil Engineering, under the Faculty of Science and Engineering. The applicants are expected to have a desire for teaching in the broad field of Civil Engineering, and research in the subject area of Civil Engineering.

Candidates must have a PhD in Geospatial Engineering or closely related discipline. Experience of teaching/tutorial/laboratory work at undergraduate and postgraduate level in an international English-speaking institution is essential. Evidence of ability to conduct research at an international level is a distinct advantage.

Salary will be within the range of RMB421,889 – RMB555,548 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience (salary progression beyond this is subject to performance). In addition, an attractive package including employment support allowance, schooling support and insurance will be provided for international appointments.

The post is available from February 2022 or as soon as thereafter and will initially be offered on a fixed-term contract with the University of Nottingham Ningbo China for a period of up to five years. This contract may be extended on an indefinite basis by mutual agreement.
