Job summary

The Department of Accounting currently delivers a highly successful BSc Accounting and Finance programme in Dubai.  In 2022, we will launch our exciting new MSc Accounting and Finance programme. 

As an Assistant Professor in Accounting, you will make a substantial contribution to the management, development and delivery of teaching and assessment, whilst enhancing the student experience and employability. Through excellent teaching, informed by accounting scholarship, you will inspire students and help equip them with the skills they need to thrive as future leaders in accounting.  We welcome applications from candidates with teaching experience across the full range of accounting topics, including financial accounting, management accounting, business analytics, business law, ethics, auditing, taxation, social and environmental accounting, and public sector accounting.

You will:

  •  Normally, a higher Degree relevant to the discipline area (usually PhD) or equivalent qualifications.
    •    Extensive teaching experience and scholarship within subject specialism.
    •    Proven ability to devise, advise on and manage learning.
    •    Skills in managing, motivating & mentoring others.
