- £40927 to £50296 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.
The School of Education seeks to appoint a researcher and teacher in the field of Learning Sciences, Psychology of Education and/or Digital Education. You will make a significant contribution the research in the School, actively seeking out external research funding and publishing high quality, impactful research.
This post supports the School’s work in the broad area of Education and Teacher Development. The role holder will make a significant contribution to the MA Digital Teaching and Learning on both face-to-face and distance learning courses as well as the BA degree in Education. They will take on module leadership in relation to their expertise and will provide pastoral leadership as a personal tutor and dissertation supervisor for undergraduate or postgraduate students. The role holder may also engage in research student supervision and teach on the blended PGCEI.
Applicants must hold a PhD in Learning Sciences, Psychology of Education or Digital Education. They should also have relevant work experience, including experience of teaching/supporting students.
This is a permanent, full-time post of 36.25 hours per week. Arrangements for job share would be considered. The role is available from August 2022.
