Salary £37467 to £51799 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Professor in Accounting based in the Accounting Department of Nottingham University Business School.

Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent in a relevant area (or be close to completion), together with significant teaching experience in relevant subjects at HE level. The person appointed will be expected to engage in high quality research and teaching on the range of programmes offered by the School.

A growing record of publishing in world-leading, peer-reviewed journals in Accounting is required along with an ability to supervise postgraduate and PhD students. Candidates should have the ability to advance their own research area, the flexibility to collaborate with colleagues and the ability to work well in a team. They should have excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in relevant subjects within Accounting. They will also be required to make an appropriate contribution to administration.

This full-time (36.25 hour) post is offered on a permanent contract and is available from January 2023. Job share arrangements may be considered.
