Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Professor in Accounting and Finance based in the Accounting Department/Finance, Risk and Banking Department of Nottingham University Business School. The person appointed will engage in high quality research in the area of accounting and/or finance and contribute to teaching accounting and finance modules across the range of programmes offered by the School at undergraduate, postgraduate and executive levels.  They will also be required to make an appropriate contribution to administration. 

Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant area, or be close to completion, together with previous teaching experience in relevant subjects at HE level. They should have excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in relevant subjects across accounting and finance. Research interests in relevant areas that complement existing research within the Accounting Department/Finance, Risk and Banking Department and publications in academic journals in relevant areas are also required. Candidates should have the ability to develop their own research area, the flexibility to collaborate with colleagues and the ability to work well in a team. 

This is a permanent, full-time post (36.25 hours).
