The Department of Modern Languages is looking to appoint an Assistant Language Tutor in Catalan (with additional Spanish teaching). The position is a fixed-term appointment.

The successful candidate will have: a degree or equivalent relevant to teaching area; the expertise to teach in the areas specified in the job particulars; fluent written and spoken English.

The post-holder will be expected to teach courses predominantly in Catalan language, with additional Spanish teaching, through allocated seminars and language classes, so that the Department’s teaching objectives are met. 

To contribute to elements of teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students within Catalan and Spanish studies in the Department of Modern Languages. Teaching will be across both the BA in Modern Languages programme and our Institution-wide Languages for All provision.
