This post is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Digital Media Producer to join a large team dedicated to designing and developing cutting-edge online degree courses and empowering digital delivery of teaching & learning.


We are looking for a wide range of digital media production skills and you may come from a range of backgrounds including; Animation, Digital Media, Film and Television, Illustration, Graphic Design, Journalism, Multimedia Production and Photography. You are likely to have expertise in more than one area. 


You will be required to work closely with the Digital Media and Online teams to support the development of innovative, engaging and enjoyable online content for planned online degrees on major e-learning platforms, and also for the business’ exciting diversified portfolio. The exciting projects you will be working on will be accessible to thousands of learners across the globe.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 


The main duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Digital Media Producer include:
• Creating digital media content to agreed specifications and quality standards.
• Setting up and operating cameras, lights, microphones and other filmmaking equipment.
• Video editing, audio post-production, basic illustration/motion graphics.
• Assisting the production team in creating and maintaining pre-production and on-going media-related project documents, e.g. call sheets, release forms, logs etc.
• Ensuring digital media content is accessible so that students can access and easily adapt digital materials so that they can be used with assistive technologies.
• Adhering to in-house workflows, styles and norms including; file management, maintenance of folder structures and naming conventions, archiving, logging of assets and rights permissions.
• Applying correct branding to all course materials including graphics.
• Sourcing media from stock libraries when required.
• Providing support for Digital Media and Studio project teams, particularly in all content creation tasks.
And such other duties as are within the scope and spirit of the job purpose, and the title of the post. Or duties deemed reasonable for this role by the company and/or the post’s Line Manager
