We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Administrator to join the University’s Faculty of Science and Engineering Professional Services team.

As Assistant Administrator, you will provide comprehensive support to staff, students and programmes within the Faculty.  Under the direction of the Senior Support Administrator within the School of Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences and as a member of the Faculty’s School Support team, you will deliver excellent customer service and administrative support, including arranging meetings, producing agendas and minutes, supporting events and activities and undertaking a variety of other administrative support tasks. 

You will have a good level of administrative experience and demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and digital skills.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, accuracy and attention to detail are essential.  You will need to be able to contribute and be confident when working as part of a team and be equally comfortable using your initiative and working on your own.  Being flexible in an ever-changing and challenging environment will be vital.

This is a part-time position working 15 hours per week over 3 days on a permanent basis.
