We have an exciting opportunity to recruit an Assessor in Electrical Engineering to join our successful team in the School of Engineering. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join this growing team and support the future development of talented engineering apprentices who will go on to fill the huge skills gap in key areas within Engineering. The School have worked hard to introduce several new engineering standards and have spent time developing key relationships with a multitude of employers.
As an Assessor in Electrical Engineering, you will be assigned a caseload of candidates to manage and monitor. You will review the progress of your apprentices and support them with portfolio/e-portfolio preparation, as well as preparing them for end point assessment as required.
As part of the role, you could be responsible for assessing and reviewing Higher and Degree Apprenticeships as required, so a Level 6 qualification in Engineering would be beneficial.
In addition, you will need to have a flexible approach and excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
Package: Occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave, contribution towards relevant CPD, salary sacrifice schemes, free car parking.
