This post is full time and permanent, working 35 hours per week.
The Quality and Standards Office plays a key role in the development of the University’s quality assurance and academic regulatory frameworks, including the approval, monitoring and review of courses. It also provides a Committee Secretariat function and supports the University’s three Colleges in meeting their responsibility for quality assurance, academic standards and governance.
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual to join the University to support the delivery of tripartite progress reviews to apprentices in the School of Life Sciences for our BSc (Hons) Applied Biomedical Science programme, a Level 6 Healthcare Science Practitioner apprenticeship.
The candidate will work with academic staff and employers to support our apprentices and nurture their talent. The role will require you to support the negotiation of their learning needs in the workplace and to support each apprentice in a tailored and individual way to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours.
To be effective in this role, you will need to possess excellent sector or subject knowledge as well as an understanding of professional development achieved through both On-the-Job and Off-the-Job training, professional development and work-based learning (WBL) relevant to your field of expertise.
