The Faculty of Engineering & Science is one of four faculties at the University of Greenwich and is dedicated to inspirational learning, combining teaching with work placements and impactful research. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated professional to a new role supporting the delivery of our growing apprenticeship degree programmes within the Faculty of Engineering and Science.

Working collaboratively with industrial employers you will be responsible for managing and undertaking the annual cycle of progress reviews for all Engineering and Science degree apprentices, as required by the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA). Apprenticeship Reviews are undertaken four times annually as a tripartite process with apprentices, their employer mentor and the higher education provider. These formal review meetings are used to evidence the students’ progression and how they improve throughout the apprenticeship, not only within their academic work but also in their work environment. It is an opportunity to set targets and goals and note any which have been achieved.

Excellent communication skills are essential, to foster and maintain effective working relationships with employers, support the apprentices and strengthen links with the School. You will also need to have exceptional organisational skills that will enable you to independently co-ordinate and follow up on the progress reviews.

You will be qualified to degree level and ideally have experience of working in a higher education apprenticeship environment.
