The Workforce Planning & Talent team is a centre of expertise within the Organisational Development (OD) function of the University’s People and OD Directorate. The team supports the partnering activities of the directorate with advisory services for leaders, managers and employees.

The Workforce Planning & Talent team develops the University’s capability to design and plan the workforce needed to deliver strategic goals and core services, over short, medium and strategic timeframes.  The team provides workforce planning and talent management expertise, workforce data analytics, and creates job families to support career pathways, development routes and improved visibility of roles across the organisation.

The team also provides expertise in employee development via apprenticeships, and expertly manages the delivery of employee apprenticeship programs.  The team develops University staff through future talent apprenticeship programs and professional development apprenticeships.
