Apprentice Business Administrator

Department of IT Services, Dartington House

Apprentice Grade- £22,631 p.a. (incremental progression through successful completion of the programme)

We are looking for an Apprentice Business Administrator to join our IT Services team to help with administration (HR, Communications and Office Management)

You will contribute to the daily organisational tasks of the administration team within IT Services, which will involve provision of professional services to a wide variety of employees, key stakeholders and external clients to facilitate the delivery of the Department’s objectives

You will train in a range of administration activities by working with and providing support to all team members.

We are looking for someone who is good at communicating, both written and verbal and a willingness to learn – no experience is needed as full training will be provided.

About the Apprenticeship

You will study with Abingdon & Witney College to achieve an Advanced Apprenticeship in Business Administration.

You should have, or be expected to obtain 4 GCSEs or the equivalent at grade C or above, including English and Maths and demonstrate IT literacy as well as an interest in administration. You will be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm and aptitude for the skills taught in the Apprenticeship.

Applicants should have evidence of their eligibility to work in the UK. This role will not attract sufficient points to qualify for a UK Visa and therefore is not open to candidates who do not already have the right to work in the UK.
