Job Type: FullTime
Deadline: 31 Oct 2021

Oxford Brookes is a leading modern institution with big ambitions. We are seeking to increase our global footprint, broaden access to an Oxford Brookes education, and further enhance our reputation as a leading global University.

The Admissions Office is at the heart of these ambitions, playing a key role in the achievement of the University’s objectives through the delivery of a fair, efficient and transparent admissions process that enables equitable access for those students with the potential to succeed at Oxford Brookes.

We have recently expanded our Admissions team to support us in delivering an exceptional applicant experience across our UG and PGT portfolio.

The new role of Applicant and Enquiry Advisor will work directly with applicants, acting as their named contact throughout their applicant journey. You’ll use your knowledge of the student recruitment journey and the admissions process to provide high quality, personalised information and guidance.

You’ll also ensure that a prospective student’s first encounter with Oxford Brookes is a positive one. You’ll deliver high quality customer service in response to enquiries received via a range of channels, including email, phone, and external platforms such as TheStudentRoom.

You’ll have experience of delivering high levels of accuracy, with the ability to work confidently within our Admissions (CRM) system. We’ll support you to develop your knowledge of specific UK and international markets. The ability to work to agreed standards and performance requirements is essential.

The Admissions team is currently working remotely, and will be moving to agile working practices longer term. We are therefore open to discussing hybrid working arrangements with candidates.

For an informal conversation about this role, please contact Robert Hodgson, Head of Admissions ([email protected]).

You will also enjoy the benefits of working at Oxford Brookes University with up to 38 days holiday, rising to 41 days holiday (this includes 13 Bank Holidays and Concessionary Days), a generous Local Government pension scheme (14.7% Employer contribution rate), cycle to work scheme and access to a variety of university facilities (NHS Dentist, Brookes Nursery, Gym and sports facilities). For more information about benefits please see the document 'All about Brookes' below.
