Salary

Full time starting salary is normally in the range of £20,454 to £22,799 per annum, pro rata, with potential progression up to £26,222 per annum pro rata (20 hours per week)

About the Role

You will be responsible for the administration and participant support relating to all participants on our taught programme; modelling good practices and ensuring high levels of learner satisfaction.

This will mean you play an important role in providing guidance to staff and students, managing routine and creating custom communications, maintain virtual learning environments, lecture handouts and other course materials.

About You

The most important thing that you will need to bring to this role is passion and commitment to accuracy, you will have the responsibility to deliver but also the opportunity to refine and develop how it is done.

Strong experience in administration, a range of modern IT tools, data entry and attention to detail are essential along with excellent communication with a broad range of peers and being a reliable, self-motivated team player with a keen desire to learn new skills.

As a specialist centre, APEX is a multi-disciplinary team which actively supports academic, learning support staff and doctoral students in their academic practice, improving the learning experience of all our learners. We do this using formal programmes such as our accredited taught and experiential routes to Advance HE fellowship, personal and strategic development programmes around specific roles and embedding good practices and leading educational projects and strategic initiatives.

This role is 20hrs per week, we will be very open to discussing working patterns which can meet our needs. Additionally, the university are piloting hybrid working arrangements until April 2022. This means the majority of our staff are spending between 40% and 60% of their time working from the office where job roles allow.
