The University is currently undergoing a project to create a fantastic new Student Services Centre in the heart of the main building, and it is still in the early stages of the design.

Reporting to the Director of Student Experience, this role will be responsible for the overall management of the two of the Advice teams in this area, ensuring that the services are represented at the right times of the year, and to maximise the student use and experience of these services. 

You will manage a number of specialist advisers in the Immigration Advice Team and Student Advice Team, but will also have responsibility for service standards and method of delivery.

We are looking for an experienced Advice manager who can lead people from across multi disciplinary teams to work together in the one space with a common purpose, and with a specialist knowledge of the areas so the specialist advisers can discuss complex casework. 

The postholder will also be expected to take on their own caseload of students in an advice capacity.
