We have a new opportunity for an enthusiastic Advanced Research Assistant to join us on a 12 month fixed term basis. This is a full time opportunity, however consideration for applicants wishing to work a minimum of 30 hours will be considered equally with full time applicants. 

About the role:

You will develop and optimize various CRISPRi and CRISPRa epigenetic modifiers in human induced pluripotent stem cells and understand the chromatin dependence of these modifiers using high-throughput sequencing and single cell ‘omics assays.

You will have the opportunity to employ cutting edge genome engineering technologies, single cell technologies and stem cell culture and benefit from the skills and expertise at the Sanger Institute. 

You will work in the cellular and gene editing research team led by Dr Andrew Bassett and in collaboration with other groups across the Sanger Institute.
